While I’m not sure about John Battelle’s prediction that Tumblr will be the next big platform in the evolution of digital (Nothing against Tumblr, I like it and use it) but I like his explanation of how the web evolved from curation (Yahoo) to discovery (Google) to filtering signal from noise (Facebook and then Twitter).
