BC Doctors of Optometry Campaign
Over the past 10 years, Edelman has worked with the British Columbia Association of Optometrists (BCAO) to focus its public relations resources on having the greatest impact possible.
In 2010, the B.C. government deregulated eye care — a change that significantly impacts the practise of optometry and places the eye health and overall health of British Columbians at risk.
To address this change, Edelman developed a new campaign — BC Doctors of Optometry. Healthy Eyes. Doctor Delivered.
Working with our client, our team applied the new identity to multiple on and offline tools to educate consumers about BC Doctors of Optometry as the one stop, go-to source for eye exams, eye treatment, eye wear and eye health information – clearly positioning optometrists as health care experts and owning the category of eye health professional.
