Edelman Recognized as One of the 50 Most Engaged Workplaces™ in Canada
My third day at Edelman and we find out we have been recognized as one of the 50 Most Engaged Workplaces™ in Canada. Wow! I’m impressed.
A colleague who is a lot smarter than me once said, “the real difference between average companies and highly successful companies is that highly successful companies actually do the things they say they are going to do.”
Every company has a plan for employee engagement, but not many actually implement the ideas.
What I have noticed at Edelman is that what’s said is what’s actually done to engage everyone. From the ‘Foursies’ at Four, to Town Halls, to ‘Little Give’, to the Social Director, active engagement is everywhere. It’s impressive!
Most impressive is that employee engagement here isn’t a fad. It is founded on the belief that a more engaged employee (like Brittany) will make for a more powerful company, which will result in better work for our clients, which will create greater success for all involved — a notion with which I wholeheartedly agree.
