Jordan Doucette Joins Edelman Toronto as Executive Creative Director

As the marketing landscape has changed dramatically over the last several years, we have been firmly committed to expanding our creative offering, not only in scope but in ambition. Today represents a significant milestone in that journey, as we welcome one of Canada’s top executive creative directors, Jordan Doucette, to Edelman Toronto.

Throughout her career, Jordan has distinguished herself by constantly pushing boundaries, overseeing ground-breaking campaigns, positively transforming client relationships, and drawing on an incredible talent for communication and collaboration to make a meaningful business impact.

She has worked in advertising for the past 15 years, most recently at TAXI Advertising & Design where her client roster included MINI Cooper, TELUS, Koodo, Yellow Pages, McCain, Vancouver Aquarium and BCLC, to name just a few. Before that, she was with TAXI 2, TAXI Vancouver, Ambrose Carr Linton Carroll, Grey Worldwide and Gee Jeffery & Partners.

Jordan’s work has been recognized by many major awards, including Cannes Lions, The One Show, The CLIO Awards, and the CASSIES. This June, she will judge the Cyber category at the Cannes Advertising Festival. But those successes are just the beginning. With her collaborative approach, entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen, I am certain that she will be an invaluable team member and great contributor to the Edelman culture.

Jordan will work in partnership with Robyn Adelson, our executive director, creative strategy. Under Robyn’s leadership, we have made immense strides creatively. By combining her proven ability to develop insightful strategy and bold creative concepts with Jordan’s track record of expressing creative ideas in a variety of mediums and at scale, we will surely reach unprecedented creative heights.

Our ongoing commitment to digital, research, insights, analytics and creativity are all part of how we show up differently – for both ourselves and our clients. Jordan will help us not just to stand out in a crowded marketplace, but to take a leading creative role. ­
